Project Superintendent

The Project Superintendent is responsible for the overall success of assigned construction projects. This includes managing the day-to-day operations, supervising subcontractors and other staff, and ensuring that projects are completed on-time and within budget. This position reports to the Project Manager and requires a thorough knowledge of construction principles, practices, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractors.
• Ensure that safety standards and regulations are followed by all staff and subcontractors.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and other staff.
• Provide guidance and direction to ensure that projects are completed on-time and within budget.
• Document daily activities on construction projects, including labor hours and materials used.
• Maintain a detailed record of all project-related expenses.
• Provide progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Identify and resolve project issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure that quality standards are met on all projects.

Qualifications:

• Have Heavy Civil Construction or Cement Construction experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience in construction.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Ability to understand and interpret construction documents.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
